摘要
劳伦斯在中篇小说《狐》中,通过一男二女错综复杂的感情纠葛,否定了现代人男将不男、女犹不女、阴阳两极严重失调的悲剧性的生存模式,探讨了重构男女关系的现代性问题。
Lawrence in his novel The Fox,through the description of the complicated emotional conflicts,denied the tragic existence mode of contemporary people,that is,'Men are no longer like men while women are no longer like women,and the balance between the two polar,Yin and Yang,has been severely damaged.' What's more,he explored the theme 'how to readjust or rebuild the relationship between the two sexes.' In this essay,the author analyzes the novel's theme and the paradoxes.
