摘要
富余信息是语言交流中的一个客观现象。在听他人的话语获取信息的过程中人们不自觉地利用富余信息 ,从而在较少的时间内以较少的精力接收所需的信息 ,使信息的接收更加有效。在英语教学中 ,可以通过训练学生利用英语话语中的富余信息获取信息的能力提高听力。阐述了富余信息的重要性和必要性 ,并提出了利用富余信息进行听力训练的有效途径。同时 ,提出了增加词汇的几种方法。
Extra information is an obvious phenomenon in communication.People tend to unconsciously use extra information while listening so as to accept the useful information in the least time with the least energy,which makes information receiving more efficient.In the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language,extra information can be used in listening practice.The author illustrates the necessity and importance of using extra information in improving listening ability and put forward some useful and practical ways of using extra information to improve English listening ability.Then some ways of increasing vocabulary are suggested.
