高锰钢铸件在采用钻英粉涂料时，表面帖砂严重、并且粗糙，我们针对此种情况，研制了镁砂粉水基触变棘科，其综合性能指标可与英国Foseco公司生产的Hloecotel 10号涂料性能相似．
High manganese steel casting is liable to burn-on, and its surface quality is poor. The magnesite-bear- ing water-base thixotropic coating we developed is similar to that of Holcote 110 type in properties, which was pre. pared by Foseco Company of Britain. With this kind of coating in casting production, the burnt-on sand defect of casting is eliminated, the surface roughness is as low as GB(Ra)=12.5μm, and the reject rate is reduced.
