摘要
自传区别于虚构作品的特征之一就是自传作者不停地在明确讨论他的作品的真实性 ,关于记忆的真实或确定性是自传中的反身表达的一个主要种类 ,自传作者通过表述他对作品的真实性的关注来加强他与读者的关系。本文讨论了“I remember”及其他表述真实性和确定性的反身表达的人际意义。
The paper focuses on one particular type of reflexives in autobiographies, namely,“I remember” and similar expressions which reveal the autobiographer's concern with the truth or certainty of his memory and ultimately with the interpersonal relationship with the reader.
