摘要
双关修辞格可以分为两大类 :同音双关与同词双关。它们有着共同的特点 :一是话语意义落在同词或同(谐 )音词的多 (歧 )义上 ;一是每一个双关词语都有双重语境。
Pun, as a figure of speech can be parted into two parts: Homophonic Pun and Homonymic Pun. They have the same characteristics: 1) the utterance meaning may fall onto the different meanings of the same word or same (similar) pronunciation; 2) each pun has double contexts. The paper also gives a further disscussion on the importance and the creation of the double contexts.
