摘要
本文介绍武汉邮电科学研究院光纤光缆部研制的掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA),及其在国产的565Mbit/s光纤数字通信系统上的实验,中继距离可达190km,系统误码率<10—12。
Erbium doped fiber amplifier(EDFA) developed by Optical Fiber and Cable Department of Wuhan Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunication Sciences was used for the experiment on 565Mbit/s fiber optic digital communication system. The repeater spacing can be 190km with BER less than 10-12.
