摘要
20世纪80年代,中国的地震学者曾对华北地区大地震的减震作用问题进行过一系列卓有成效的研究。尤其是本文作者建立了“累积频次”和“累积概率”的概念之后,将随机分布的观测数据点变为连续分布的“减震作用场”,实现了大地震减震作用的定量描述,使其研究结果能较好地运用到中长期地震趋势预测与工程场地的地震安全性评价中去。
In the 1980's,the Chinese seismological researchers made a series of fruitful studies in seis-mic reduction effects of the large earthquakes in North China region.Especialy after the conceptsof“cumulative frequency”and“cumulative probability”were established by the authors of thispaper,randomly distributed observed data points were changed into a continuously distributed“field of seismic reduction effect”,thus realizing the quantitative description of seismic reductioneffects of large earthquakes.Now the research results can be applied in a relatively effective wayto medium term and long term earthquake prediction and seismic safety evaluation of engineeringsites.
