The solid ternary complexes of rare earth acrylates with8-hydroxyquinoline(Hox)havingcomposition RE (Ox)_2L(RE=La-Dy,Y, except Pm;L=acrylate)have been synthesized in methanol and characterized by elemental analpees,IR spetra and TG-DTA technique. The resultsshow that in esch molecule of the complexes RE ion was coordinated by bidentate oxygen atom fromacrylate and one nitrogen atom and one oxygen atom from 8-hydroxyquinoline.
