摘要
用激光全息技术研究了几种不同椭圆度喷孔的喷雾总体特性,发现其外观形状既非圆锥体也非椭圆锥体,而是横断面为椭圆但其长短轴沿射流方向交替变化的特殊锥体横断面长短轴交替变化是雾场涡结构自感应变形的表现,它使周围流体大量卷入喷雾区在喷孔近处,椭圆喷雾在长短轴平面内具有不同的横向扩散速率,但在远离喷嘴处,椭圆喷雾的各向扩散速率则趋于一致.实验观察表明,椭圆喷雾相对于轴对称喷雾有更好的卷吸效果.
The gross behavior of sprays from elliptic orifices with different ellipticities hasbeen investigated experimentally by means of laser holography. The results show that the geometry of these sprays is neither a cone of circular cross section nor a cone of elliptic cross-section,but a special cone with elliptic cross-section. The lengths of its major and minor axes varyalternatively in the jet direction. The axis alternative variation has proved to be a result of thevortex structure deformation due to self-induction of the jet, resulting in a considerableentrainment of the surrounding fluid into spray. The elliptic spray has different transverse spreading rates on its minor and major axis-planes near the exit of the orifice, but has approximatelyequal rates beyond the exit. The experimental observation shows that an elliptic spray has a better entrainment effect than an axis-symmetric one.
