Improvement of Ni-MH power battery on high temperature performance

摘要 研究了在MH-Ni电池正极加入Y_2O_3、ZnO、CaF_2等添加剂对其高温充电性能及高温循环寿命的影响。结果表明:(1) 60 ℃环境中以0.5 C充电,加入1.5%(质量百分数)Y_2O_3的电池的充电效率为89.1%,无添加剂的对比电池的充电效率仅为40.3%;(2) 40 ℃条件下的1 C循环寿命,加入1.5 %Y2O3的电池达到520周,无添加剂的对比电池仅为195周。而且正极加入1.5 %的Y_2O_3对MH-Ni电池常温、低温性能影响较小。 The effects of adding Y2O3?ZnO?CaF2 etc. to the positive electrode on MH-Ni battery's charge efficiency and cycle life at high temperature were studied. The results showed that, (1) the charge efficiency of the battery with 1.5 % Y2O3 reached 89.1% at 60 ℃, 0.5 C ,while that without additives only reached 40.3%; (2) the charge-discharge cycle life of the battery with 1.5 wt% Y2O3 reached 520 cycles, which was more than twice of that without additives at 40 ℃,1 C. In addition, the performances of the MH-Ni battery with 1.5 % Y2O3 at room temperature and low temperature didn't decrease greatly.
