摘要
“性”在张载的理论中是一个具有普遍性的概念。张载在对佛老哲学进行批判的基础上阐述其对“性”的理解。他认为,气之所以成为世界的本原,便是因为其固有之“性”,即“性”是“气”运动变化的根源。这种运动变化的能力,来自气内部固有的“二端”性质,“二端”相感是一切事物产生和变化的根本原因。所以,“性”又是一切存在物的内在本质。人和物正是有其“性”,才不断地产生并变化着。“性”清通神妙,却是可以认识的。
Nature” is a universal concept in Zhang Zai’s system.Zhang Zai’s theory on “Nature” was (theorized) by animadverting on Buddhism and Taoism.In his theory,“Qi” becomes the original form of the world (because) of its inherent “Nature”.That’s to say “Nature” is the cause of “Qi”,moving and changing.This ability comes from its inherent “two ends” character.“Two ends” reacting on each other is the ultimate cause of all things coming into beings and changing. So it can be said that “Nature” is the internal essence of all existence.(Because) of their “Nature”,human beings and things come into beings and then change constantly.“Nature” is pure and (supernatural).It can be known,too.
