This thesis starts from the modern rational era of the western society, which is after the Descartes time, which, however, is actually an unreasonable world. Then, generally, the absurd sense appears. Stretched to the despairing philosopher Kafka, and it mainly talks about his desperation of escaping from the sufferings and absurd sense of human beings; of religious belief; of rationalism; of hu- man nature; of reestablishing the human belief and even the desperation of life itself and happiness. Kafka doesn't believe this world orga- nized as the rationalistic cognition. Meanwhile, the rational belief was already deep in his mind, and he had to reject the religious belief on which he was sentimentally attached to. And it took him to a dilemma and absurd predicament of desperation.
