摘要
本文是对政治学的一个分支领域——比较政治学所作的历时性考察和描述。从亚里士多德在比较研究的基础上开创政治学以来,比较政治学先后经历了早期的曲折发展和近代以来的学科化发展,而在第二次世界大战结束后至60年代达到其发展的高峰并最终成长为一门比较成熟的分支学科。按照这样三个时段的发展顺序,本文分别讨论了许多政治思想家和政治学者包括马克思和恩格斯,对比较政治学发展所做出的贡献,其间概略性地涉及了比较政治学领域内研究主题的变迁、理论模式的发展与更替、以及研究方法与操作技巧的发展等等,同时也简要地分析了若干值得注意的政治学主流或主流政治学、社会科学其他相关学科、以及社会政治环境对于比较政治学发展所产生的影响和制约。通过这一考察,本文试图探讨比较政治学的发展作为一种知识积累过程所包涵的学理意义。
This essay is a historical survey of the development of comparative politics as one of the sub-disciplines in political science, which has undergone three phases since Aristotle initiated it based on his comparative studies. After tortuous development in its early stage and disciplinary orientation in the second since modern times, comparative politics reached its sumit and enventually became a mature sub-discipline during the years between the end of the World War Ⅱ and late 1960s. According to this division, the essay 1) describes personal contributions to its growth of some great political thinkers and scholars, including Marx and Engles,2) analyses briefly the changes in research subjects, theoretical issues and methodological dimensions, and3) explores the influences on comparative politics from the main trends of political science, other social science disciplines and socio-political context. The aim of this essay is to give a consideration in the sense of scientific law to the knowledge building in the evolution of comparative politics.
