Advance of mechanisms of spatial processing for hippocampal place cells

摘要 位置细胞是具有位置特异性和复杂锋电位的海马锥体细胞。三十多年来,人们致力于研究位置细胞放电与空间信息处理之间的关系,并取得了可喜的进展。但遗憾的是,位置细胞处理空间信息的详细机制至今仍不清楚。本文就近年来关于海马位置细胞空间信息处理机制的研究进展做一综述。 Place cells are the location-specific hippocampal pyramidal cells with complicated spikes. For more than thirty years, many researchers have applied themselves to investigating the relationship between firing of place cells and spatial memory. However, the detailed mechanisms of spatial information processing for place cells are still unclear. Here, we review the recent progress about the mechanisms of spatial information processing for the hippocampal place cells.
