摘要
本文介绍了电大开放英语学习系统探索以学生为中心的“学教并重”教学结构,采用混合型教学模式,利用多媒体和网络技术实现有导学、有控制的自主学习的实践,以几个教学环节的教学设计为例,具体说明了一些设计思路,同时介绍了该学习系统的主要技术特点。
One of the major objectives in the higher education teaching reform is to change the traditional model in which teachers are overemphasized. However, the existing multi-media teaching structure goes to the other extreme: it emphasizes student learning at the expense of teachers' facilitative role. The authors of this paper believe that the new teaching model should stress both the facilitative role of teachers and the active role of students. This paper discusses the English Learning System of China's Radio and Television Universities, in which students are the focus and learning and teaching are given equal emphasis. This system uses a mixed model of asynchronous teaching, synchronous teaching and individualized tutorials. Multi-media and Internet technology are used to realize controlled autonomous learning and to strengthen the supervision of the learning process. This system was developed using the latest Microsoft.Net technology and the learning resource template was designed with the advanced Web Service technology. Time-based audio and muting technology are used to satisfy the needs of individualized learning and to save computer space. The various softwares use online and database technologies such as .Net platform, Web Service and SQL Server. With these softwares, students can learn at a time and place of their choice and teachers can collectively manage the learning process at a distance. This study shows that the design of a learning resource bank should consider the issue of cost-effectiveness and fulfill the needs of individualized learning.
