摘要
随着国际学术交流的日益加强,高层次的英语教学不能只满足于语言知识的简单传授,而要注重提高学习者们运用英语的实际能力,具体来说,就是提高学术交流英语的书面与口头交际能力.因此,本文以系统功能语言学的语篇体裁理论为指导,通过探讨学术英语语篇体裁与语域变体,初步尝试建立学术英语语篇体裁网络模式,以便更好地帮助学习者运用英语进行学术口笔交流的能力.
Academic English Teaching plays an important role in high-level academic communication. This paper, therefore, based on the framework of genre theory in Systemic-Functional Linguistics, attempts to discuss how genre analysis can offer a workable network, which demonstrates an approach to the teaching of academic and research English. Specific genres are suggested for classifying the academic English, but no attempt has been made to provide a typology of accurate classifications. The initial network may serve as a pedagogic image to help teachers concerned to better understand how the various specific genres in academic settings are structured for the purposes of Academic English Teaching.
