摘要
报道了二极管(LD)端面泵浦Nd:GdVO4晶体腔外三倍频紫外激光器.利用声光调Q获得脉宽为25 ns、重复频率为20 kHz的355 nm紫外准连续激光输出.当泵浦功率为16 W时,用Ⅰ类相位匹配LBO晶体进行二倍频获得822 mW的绿光输出;此时用Ⅱ类相位匹配LBO晶体进行三倍频获得266 mW的355 nm紫外激光输出,三倍频效率(1 064~355 nm)达到5.9%,输出功率抖动低于1.7%.
A laser-diode (LD) pumped Nd: GdVO4 extra-cavity frequency tripling ultraviolet laser with a LBO crystal was demonstrated. Under the acousto-optic (A-O) Q-switched operation, we obtain 355 nm ultraviolet laser, with pulse width of 25 ns and pulse repetition rate of 20 kHz. Using a type I phase-matched LBO crystal, the output power of second harmonic generation (SHG) reaches to 822 mW at incident pump power of 16 W. The output power of 355 nm ultraviolet laser is 260 mW with a type II phase-matched LBO crystal, and the conversion efficiency (1064-355 nm) is 5.9%. The stability of power at 355 nm is 1.7% in an hour.
