摘要
美国正在进行的国防转型,不仅是国防战略,也是国家安全战略的调整。这个调整并不是因为中国所引起的,但在美国的战略中中国占有重要地位。美国的国防转型对中国的安全环境产生重大的影响,它与台湾问题、日本的战略转变一起对中国构成严峻的挑战。这种挑战主要集中在近期和中期,集中在中国东部的海洋面向。但是,从长远来看,美国的地位与实力将随着现行战略的推行而下降。
The defense transformation now being undertaken in the United States is not just the adjustment of defence strategy, but that of national security strategy. The cause of the transformation does not stem from China, but the United States has attached great importance to China in its national strategy. This defense transformation will have a significant impact on China's security environment, which along with Taiwan Question and Japan's strategy change constitutes severe challenges to China. In the short and middle terms, the challenges would be mainly focused on eastern China's coastal areas. In the long run, however, the status and power of the United States will decline with the implementation of the current strategy.
