摘要 提出了MODIS在林火监测中的应用方法,其核心是利用MODIS热红外波段亮度温度阈值与植被指数相结合进行火点识别。对中、蒙、俄三国交界地区进行实例应用,结果表明,该方法能有效检测火点,减小由裸土、水体和云引起的误判。 A new algorithm is proposed in this paper for fire detection with MODIS data. The crux of this algorithm is to combine brightness temperature of thermal infrared (TIR) bands with vegetation index derived from visible and near infrared (VNIR) bands for fire spot detection. Applications in China-Mongolia-Russia border area indicate that the algorithm is capable of detecting fire spots as well as reducing false alarms caused by non-vegetation areas.
