摘要
介绍了在线切割加工(WEDM)软件中利用数字图像技术对图像轮廓进行提取并矢量化为直线或圆弧的方法。系统的输入包括实物扫描得到的图像、美术画、美术字等各种图案。通过二值化、噪声滤除、边缘检测处理,形成离散点集轮廓,再对离散点进行直线或者圆弧拟合,轮廓最终被矢量化为加工轮廓。可以对照初始图像修改矢量化后的结果,直到矢量图形吻合图像轮廓为止。此方法的应用大大扩展了线切割辅助软件的零件设计功能,提高了设计效率。
This paper establishs a method by which WEDM cam software can extract profile from an image after digital processing, and then vectorize the profile to lines or arcs. The pattern input includes scanning image from object, art drawing, artistic calligraphy, etc. After thresholding, noise reduction, and boundary tracking, the origin image is shaped out to discrete points, which then are faired into lines or arcs series. If the result is not perfect, designer can revise it immediately when comparing the origin. The application of this method extend the design instrument in WEDM software greatly.
