摘要
通过测试复合材料自然老化实验前后力学性能的变化,研究了稀土氧化物对聚丙烯(PP)老化性能的影响。结果发现,老化初期及中期,稀土氧化物对PP的老化有一定的促进作用;老化后期,则有一定的阻滞作用。4种氧化物中,CeO2和Pr6O11对PP老化的阻滞作用比较明显,抗老化性能较优。同种稀土氧化物复合材料中,稀土氧化物含量的不同对拉伸强度影响不大;而稀土氧化物填充量高,其冲击强度高,抗老化性能好。
Effects of rare earth oxides on weathering-resistance of PP were studied via the changes in mechanical properties. It was found that the rare earth oxides accelerated the weathering of PP in the early stage, however, inhibited the weathering in the latter stage. The inhibition of CeO_2 and Pr_6O_(11) was more effective than other oxides. While the tensile strength of PP was not affected by the content of rare earth oxide, the impact strength and weathering-resistance became better with increasing content of the rare earth oxides.
