脑红蛋白是一种主要位于脑内神经元的携氧球蛋白。脑缺血缺氧时,脑红蛋白在神经元中高度表达,并可作为一种内源性神经保护因子保护神经元免受缺血性损害。文章对脑红蛋白的结构、分布以及在脑缺血缺氧中可能的作用和机制作了简要介绍。
Neuroglobin (Ngb), an oxygen-carrying protein present mainly in neurons of the brain, is highly expressed in neurons during brain hypoxia-ischemia, and may act as an endogenous neuroprotective factor against ischemic neuronal damage. This article briefly addresses the structure and distribution of Ngb, as well as its potential role and mechanism in ischemia and hypoxia.
