摘要 RNA干扰(RNAi)是双链RNA分子在mRNA水平上特异性封闭相应序列基因表达的过程,是一新兴的基因阻断技术。RNAi在基因组功能研究和病毒性、遗传性疾病以及肿瘤等多种疾病的治疗中具有广阔的应用前景。本文综述了RNAi的发现过程、可能作用机制和应用前景。 RNA interference (RNAi) is a phenomenon of a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) silenc ing the exression of the homologous gene and is a tremendous potential scient ific tool which could ultimately be used for genomic research and therapeutic pu rposes. Historic overview of the discovery, mechanism and latest advances of the RNAi with particular emphasis on the utility as analytical and potential therap eutic tools is recommended.
