本文描述了采自江苏马铁菊头蝠(Rhinolophusferrum-eguinum)翅上的无前恙螨属一新种,即宜兴无前恙螨[Walchia(Walchia)neeshiniWangetXia,sp.nov]。模式标本保存于复旦大学上海医学院寄生虫学教研室。
In this paper, a new species of trombiculid mite, Walchia(Walchia) neeshini Wang et Xia,sp.nov., parasitic on bats is described. Type specimen is deposited in the department of parasitology, Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, China. Walchia (Walchia) neeshini Wang et Xia, sp.nov. (Fig.1-5) Id=375.39 μm×270.90 μm. fP=N.N/N.N.N. fcx=1.1.2. fDS=2-6-6-2-6-4-4-2=32. fVS=49. Oc=0/0. scutum pentagon in shape. There is no AM. PL>AL. Sensillae globose-bat in shape. The measurement of Suctum as follow:AW=32.35,PW=42.32,SB=27.65,ASB=15.64,PSB=33.64,SD=49.38,AP=34.16,AL=16.46,PL=21.40,S=22.22× 9.88. SIF=5B-N-3-2110-0000. fSP=7-6-6. Length of legs (in μm):Ⅰ=123.64,Ⅱ=119.11,Ⅲ=150.93. The new species is similar to W.(W.) ewingi (Fuller, 1949), but the suctum of W (W.) ewingi has a curve cut between AL and PL. The fcx of leg Ⅲ=3(4). The measurement of SB is shorter than and ASB is apparently longer than the new species, respectively. Holotype: larva 1, collected from Rhinolophus ferrum-equinum in Jiangsu Province of China in 1963.
