摘要
由于地球表面是球面,所以地表任何方向的水平运动实际上都是转动。地球自转所产生的离心力矩是大陆离极运动的原因,由此而产生的极移使地球发生相应的形变。计算表明,极移是大规模地壳运动和地震活动的原因之一。
Because surface of the earth is spherical, all of the horizontal movements on the surface are rotation indeed. The centrifugal torsion caused by earth rotation is the reason that the continents move of the pole. It makes the pole drift and the crust deformed. It is brought to light that polar migration is one of the causes of crustal movement and earthquake.
