Catalytic synthesis of light olefins from CO_2hydrogention over supported iron cluster catalysts was studied in a fixed-bed flow microreactor under atmospheric pressure.The results indicate that Fe_3/ZSM-5 catalyst exhibited a very high selectivity of 96.6% for C_2-C_3olefins and ethylene was almost the exclusive product (9 5.6%).Characterisation of the catalysts has been carried out using Mossbauer spectroscopy,transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and ultraviolet diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV-DRS).The observed high selectivities for light olefins appear to result from the existence of iron cluster structure on the surface of Fe_3/ZSM-5 catalysts.
