摘要
多年来凝聚态物质中稀土离子的发光研究一直受到重视。近年来由于半导体激光器的迅速发展与商品化以及高浓度稀土离子激光新材料研究的迅速发展,共振泵浦的紧凑全固化稀土离子固体激光器的研究在国际上已形成一个热潮;带动了固体激光研究的全面复兴。其中上转换激光器是激光器紧凑全固化潮流的一个最新发展。它是极有的潜力的三种紧凑蓝绿激光器方案之一,弥补了了半导体激光向短波长方向发展的不足与困难。它对于发展光盘技术、信息技术、彩色显示和彩色打印等技术具有十分紧迫的重要的作用;对于生物医学诊断和水下光通讯等方面也有广泛的用途。
The luminescence research of rare earch ions doped in condensed matter has been interesting for many years. Recently because of the fastly development of diode laser and new laser material with high doped rare earth ion concentration, research of the compact diodepumped rare earth ions solid--state laser has formed a high tide and bringes along the revivification of solid laser. Upconversion laser is a newest development in this tide.It is one of the best three kinds compact blue--green lasers, it makes up the difficulty faced when diode laser extends toward short wavelength, it has very urgent significance to develop optical--disk technology, imformation technology, colour display and colour print tochnoligy, it also has wide useness in medical diagnosis and under water optical communication.
