摘要
讨论了自由曲面NC加工检验仿真系统的功能模块及其实现方法,提出了加工误差的离散矢量检测算法,解决了实时仿真系统中计算精度与计算效率之间的矛盾。
A method for the realization of interference detection and simulation in three-axis nu-merically controlled milling is presented.The algorithm consists of two steps. The first oneis to discretize the sculptured surfaces according to the accuracy defined by the user,Thesecond one is to directly compute the distances between the discretized points and the movingtool in the normal direction without having to construct explicit representation for the bound-ary surface of the enveloping solid due to tool movement.In contrast to image-based meth-ods,the algorithm is capable of calculating the positioning errors between the surfaces ma-chined and those desired accurately. The computational complexity of this method is muchlower than that obtained using direct solid modelling. The translation of NC G codes and thegraphic simulation of the machining process are also briefly described.
