摘要
翻译观很重要,但是翻译观与翻译实践的统一更为重要.如今有关翻译研究的文章、论著或演讲似乎偏谈理论的较多,多谈理论并非不好,而是这些理论(或翻译观)与翻译实践不少是矛盾的,但却为不少人所津津乐道.一般而言,大部分翻译理论是应用型的,所以无论何时何地,翻译这门重实践的学科都应保持翻译理论与实践的统一性.笔者提出:翻译观应是统一的,而非割裂的;应是一致的,而非矛盾的;应是多元的,而非单一的;应是辩证(客观)的,而非主观的.
It is more important to emphasize the unity between translators＇ views and practice. At present, however, there seem to be more essays, monographs, or lectures on translation theories than on translation practice. Quite a few theories in question, which have had “misplaced popularity”, are contradictory to translation practice in reality. Generally, translation theories are for application. Therefore, the unity of theory and practice must be called for in practice-based Translation Studies. Based on this, the author argues that translators＇ views should be a unity instead of disunity; be consistent instead of contradictory; be pluralistic instead of single; and be dialectical （obiective） instead of subjective.
