摘要
海南红豆终年常绿，无休眠期，生长迅速，能耐－２℃的低温，抗６～８级台风．并以其树形优美、嫩叶鲜艳、夏季成浓荫、极富个性而被人们所喜爱。栽植时会随着配置法、疏密度的不同而展现不同的环境效果，给人不同观赏意境。
Ormosia pinnata is a fast growing ever-green tropical tree species with moder-ate
tolerance to resist typhoon and low temperature(-2℃). It is characterized by goodshape, gaily
colored tender leaves and dense shade in summer time, which make it wide-spreading in planting
in southern China for ornamental purposes. It provides people with dif-ferent artistic conceptions
when it is planted in different patterns and densities.
