摘要
提出了基因表达水平与碱基顺序关系的表达增强网络(EEN)模型,认为EEN与编码区中密码子的某些特定位点相关联,这些位点称为EENS.用统计分析的方法证实了EENS的存在,并对E.coli和Yeast找出了这些位点.发现表达水平不仅与同义密码子的使用、且与密码子第1第2位点(特别是1位点)有关,因此Ikemura的tRNA丰度说是不完全的。发现EEN在编码区中可能具有很大的尺度,而不局限于相邻密码子,因此tRNA-tRNA相互作用说是不完全的.
model on the relation between gene expression and base sequence-Expression EnhancingNetwork(EEN) Model- is proposed.It is assumed that the EEN is correlated with some par-ticular sites in coding sequence.These sites are called Expression Enhancing Network Sites(EENS).The existence of EENS is proved and a method to find these sites is demonstrated by useof the statistical analysis of E. coli and Yeast genes. We find that the gene expression level is notonly related to the synonymous condon usage but also related to the first and second base ofcondons. Furthermore EEN may have a relatively large scale in a coding sequence which is not re-strictively located in adjacent condons in general.As a result, the mechanism of the regulation oftranslation step-time could not be explained by tRNA abundance or tRNA-tRNA interactionalone.
