摘要
北京大学新建成的单级静电加速器端电压在0.4—4.5MV范围内连续可调,稳定度在±1kV左右,可以加速氢、氘等轻离子及碳至氩等多电荷重离子,分析流强可到15—2μA(质子氘离子),建有两条束流输运线,能量分辨率分别可到1.3±10-3和4.2×10-4,传输效率高于90%,在加速器高压电极内有速流脉冲化装置,可在靶上提供脉冲宽度约1.6ns、平均流强1μA、重复频率为3MHz的脉冲束流。该器目前主要用于中子实验工作。
A 4. 5MV single end electrostatic accelerator was finished and has been operated over 2500 hours. The terminal voltage has reached 4. 5MV with stability about f lkV. The RF ion source and PlG ion source used in this machine can produce from hydrogen to argon ions for acceleration and give analyzed beam currents for H+ and d+ about 15 2OpA. Two beam lines have beem setup with transport efficiency over 90% and energy resolution about 1. 3 × 10-3 and 4. 2×10-4respectively. A Klystron bunching facility has been incorporated into the top terminal and pulsed ion heam at the target with pulse width about 1. 6ns; mean currents lμA at 3MHz repetition rate. 40 Ca (n, α)37Ar, 53 Ni (n,α)55Fe reaction cross sections e. t. c. have been measured
