摘要
本文在收集了大量的边坡工程知识、经验、信息，特别是参考了英国煤炭露天开采委员会（BritishCoalandOpencastExecutive）近10年来对240个不稳定边坡的调查研究结果的基础上，以专家系统框架Xi－Plus为蓝本，建立了边坡稳定性分析专家系统。最后，又用一个现场实例对该系统进行了验证。结果表明：该系统能够较为精确地确定边坡的稳定状态、影响边坡稳定性的主要因素和可能的滑坡模式。
Based on the collection of large amount of knowledge,experience, information of slope engineering and especialy on the study results of 240 instable surface mine slopes investigated by British Coal and Opencast Executive, an Expert Systme for Slope Stability Assessment was built up with expert system shell Xi-Plus. Finally a case study is presented to verify the Expert System. The results of this assessment show that the Exper System developed can accurately predict the state of slope stability,the main factors influencing slope stability and possible slope failure modes.
