摘要 基于IP网络的多媒体通信技术是当今通信领域的研究热点,多个标准化组织从不同角度制定了关于IP网络多媒体通信的标准。了解主流多媒体通信协议的现在和未来的发展对于我们的工作有很重要的指导意义。本文分析了分组交换网络上现有的主流多媒体通信协议(H.323和SIP)的结构、组成及各自的特点;并在它们的编码、信令、应用领域、补充业务等方面进行了详细的比较;结合当前网络的发展趋势,展望了多媒体通信发展的前景。 The technology of multimedia communication over IP is a hot issue in the telegraphic field now, and many standard organzitions have established many standards about multimedia commnuication over IP network. To study the present and the future development of the main multimedia communication protocols will be very important for us. This paper analyses the structures, forms, and traits of the main multimedia communication protocols(h. 323 and sip) over packet - based networks; and compares them in their codes, communications, applied fields and compensatory operations in detail. In the end, prospects the foreground of the protocols by the way of foreseeing the trend of the progress of the network.
