摘要
从历年的全国大学英语四、六级考试可以看出,我国非英语专业学生的英语听力理解水平普遍较低。本文作者通过实验所获得的第一手资料,从认知心理学的角度,运用“图式理论”对这一问题进行分析研究,指出“图式是影响我国非英语专业学生英语听力理解水平提高的重要因素;不同水平的学生在听力策略上所表现出的差异主要体现在‘自上而下’的信息处理方式上;学生听力理解的发挥还受到听力测试题型的影响”。在此基础上分析和论证了提高我国非英语专业学生听力理解水平的有效途径和方法,特别强调学生听力理解过程中建立听力理解“信息链”的重要作用,以及“激活媒质”对听力理解的引导作用。
From these years' CET-4 and ECT-6.we can learn that the listening comprehension of our non-English majors is rather poor.Based on Schema Theory in cognitive psychology the author analyzed and studied the reasons of this problem with first-hand materials from the test.She pointed out that schema is an important factor which prevents our students from making further improvement in listening comprehension.The difference shown in listening strategies that are applied by differen students lies mainly in their top-down processing mode.In addition.the test items also affect students' listening.In this study.the author proved the effective ways and methods that can improve students' listening comprehension.Finally,she emphasized the importance of establishing the chain of information in the process of listening and the instroctive role of active medlium in listening comprehension.
