摘要
本研究旨在调查二语和母语心理词汇间的差异。30名三年级中国英语学习者、30名美国佐治亚州奥古斯塔州立大学的学生参加了实验。结果表明:二语心理词汇和母语心理词汇有着系统性差异。导致这些差异的因素既有语言因素,也有非语言因素。语言因素包括二语受试对词义理解的不准确、二语心理词汇中语义联系的缺乏;非语言因素包括:地理环境、文化、经济、宗教信仰因素及重大事件的影响等。了解二语心理词汇与母语心理词汇之间的不同对词汇教学有重大的指导意义。
The present study aims to investigate the differences between the 1.2 and L1 mental lexicon. 30 Grade 3 Chinese learners of English and 30 College students from Augusta State University in the city of Augusta, Georgia, in the USA participated in the experiment. The results indicate that the 1.2 mental lexicon is systematically different from the L1 mental lexicon. The differences are caused by both linguistic factors and non-lingnistic factors. Linguistic factors include the subjects' inaccurate understanding of the meanings of the prompts and lack of semantic lexical connections in the 1.2 mental lexicon. Non-linguistic factors include environmental, cultural, economic, religious factors and the effect of significant events. Knowledge of the differences between the 1.2 and L1 mental lexicon has significant pedagogical implications.
