摘要
在人类经验的基础上,通过认知和文化模式建构起来的概念,依附于语言符号而获得意义.一个多义词构成一个以基本义为原型的语义范畴;由于原型的分裂或转变,分裂或转变而来的意义又可成为次原型再分裂或转变进而构成次范畴.有些成员具有双重角色,有些次范畴形成知识网络,整个范畴的基本层级可呈下移趋势.
A concept, constructed on the basis of human experience and by means of cognitive and cultural models, acquires meaning in virtue of association with a linguistic sign. A polysemic word constitutes a semantic category with the primary meaning as the prototype. Meanings split or shifted from the prototype and their variants may constitute a subcategory. Some members play a dual role, some subcategories form a knowledge network, and the basic level of the whole category may incline to downwardness.
