料仓中仓型改流体作用的数值模拟 被引量:7

Numerical simulation study on the granular materials discharged from a silo with the placement of cone-in-cone insert

摘要 为了从理论上探求料仓内颗粒物料流动过程,改善料仓内颗粒物料的流动环境,用颗粒离散法对带仓型改流体的二维料仓内颗粒流动过程进行了数值模拟。模拟结果表明:仓型改流体可以改善颗粒在仓内的流动形式,有助于消除结拱、使漏斗流变为整体流。改流体对仓壁的法向应力分布有明显影响,使料仓的较高位置的载荷略有加大,减少了改流体下方的压应力.同时.改流体使得仓壁应力峰值降低。 Granular materials flows are found in almost any industrial process as well in a large number of natural processes, and simulation of granular materials has recently become a very important contribution to understand such flows. In the present paper, the Lagrangian Discrete Element Method (DEM) particle simulation techniques and models were discussed. Particularly, it was used to investigate the flow pattern of the discharging process for two-dimensional plane silos with cone-in-cone insert. The results obtained with this model shows that the insert with proper location can eliminate an arch and improve the flow behaviors of funnel flow type to mass flow type during discharge. The wall normal stresses are influenced with insert installed in silos also. The effects of using cone-in-cone insert on the flow pattern and the wall normal stresses are pointed out and analyzed in this study. Finally the paper suggested that in order to keep mass flow type, reduce the normal stress peak, the silo with cone-in-cone insert can reduce the silo height with the same capacity.
