摘要
本文简要介绍世界上三种主要海水淡化方法-多级闪蒸、低温多效蒸馏和反渗透的原理、特点和方法选择。将这三种方法进行比较并结合实践对选择海水淡化方法的依据进行探讨。预计21世纪的海水淡化市场会有更大发展。
Water resource shortage and pollution have been a serious problem. In recent 30 years, seawater has become an important resource for getting fresh water. The principles, and applications of three main desalination processes in the world, such as, multi-stage flash （MSF）, multi-effect evaporation （ME） and reverse osmosis （RO） are reviewed. The paper also reviews the advantages and disadvantages of the main desalination processes. Conditions of choosing the best desalination process for the economy and environment are discussed. It is expected that the seawater desalination market in the 21th century will be greatly developed.
