摘要
提出了用任意基本函数定义的偏移曲线实现的自由变形技术,克服了原Bézier形式的偏移参考基准线在一个局部凸包内的限制,使得网格顶点可变形的范围更大,计算更稳定;同时,扩展了曲线几何约束的变形方法,舍弃了三角剖分带和局部参数化的方法,转而通过控制偏移曲线的基本参数来生成表面的凸凹变形;通过调节不同位置的变形范围和变形幅值可以实现非均匀变形.
An approach for free-form deformation is presented through applying basic functions into the displacement curves. The approach may overcome the constraint in the previous method that a Bézier-shaped displacement reference curve has to be confined into a local hull. As a result, larger deformations with robust computation can be handled in the new approach for any vertex of a given mesh. In the extended curve constraint, the original triangulation and parameterization scheme is replaced with the one based on basic functions by controlling their parameters to generate surface deformations. Meanwhile, a non-uniform deformation technique is introduced by controlling the extension and the magnitude of deformation.
