摘要
用酶联免疫吸附法测定经TO3处理的水稻幼穗等器官中内源ABA、IAA和GAs含量,分析这3种激素含量的变化与TO3诱导水稻雄性不育的关系。研究表明,TO3能使水稻幼穗、花药等器官中的内源ABA含量显著增加;IAA和GAs含量明显亏缺;IAA+GAs与ABA比值明显变小,这是阻碍育性正常表达。
Seedlings of the rice cultivar “3037”(indica),which was used as the parent of the hybrid rice Yayou 2 of indica × japonica,were treated with the chemical hybridizing agent TO 3.The contents of endogenous hormones in the seedlings were assayed by ELISA.The relationship between the TO 3 induced male sterility and the hormone contents was studied. The content of endogenous abscisic acid (ABA) increased while indole acetic acid (IAA) and gibberellins (GAs) decreased significantly in young panicles and anthers of the rice plants treated with TO 3.For instance,in the heading stage,contents of endogenous ABA in young panicles and anthers of rice plants sprayed with TO 3 of 60 mg/m 2 at 15 days before heading were 24 4% and 24 0% higher,endogenous IAA 43 0% and 32 3% lower,and endogenous GAs 47 0%and 44 3% lower respectively compared with the untreated control.Therefore,TO 3 application made the ratios of IAA and GAs contents and ABA content decreased,i.e.,the ratios of ABA∶IAA∶GAs changed from 1∶38 8∶25 6 to 1∶17 8∶10 9 in young panicles and from 1∶17 6∶24 6 to 1∶9 9∶11 1 in anthers.So,it is proposed that the mechanism of rice male sterility caused by TO 3 is due to the increase in ABA content and decrease in IAA and GAs contents,in other words,due to the change in the balance of endogenous hormones.
