摘要
EPG是数字电视的重要标志,是电视节目收看方式的一种革命性变革.本文阐述了EPG在数字电视传输码流的方式和实现方法,以及通过和机顶盒内存储设施的配合,使数字电视用户能方便地检索和收看丰富的频道节目,并享受到高标准的电视业务信息服务.
EPG is the important symbol of digital televisions, and it is also a revolutionary reform in the way of watching TV. This article expounds the function,the ways of transmission and realization of EPG; and it also points out that EPG supported by the Set-Top- Box memory equipment can make the digital television users retrieve and watch rich programs easily and enjoy the high standard television information services.
