摘要
上海要建设成为社会主义现代化国际大都市和国际经济、金融、贸易、航运中心之一,并欲成功举办世博会,其城市交通必须加快现代化的建设,进一步确立“以人为本”理念,加快构建上海城市交通现代化、智能化、人性化、法治化的交通环境。
The construction goal of Shanghai is to develop an international economic, financial, commercial and shipping center, a metropolis which will successfully hold 2010 World Expo. For this purpose, urban rail transit construction must be based on human-oriented concept, lay stress on the traffic environment,which, as the author argues, shall be featured by intelligence, legality, humanity and modem technology.
