基质金属蛋白酶及其抑制剂与脑血管疾病 被引量:4

摘要 基质金属蛋白酶的含量和活性在脑缺血、颈动脉粥样硬化斑块、脑动静脉畸形、脑动脉瘤等病理状态下明显增高,提示该蛋白酶与脑血管疾病的发生关系密切。动物试验显示,基质金属蛋白酶抑制剂能明显减小脑梗死体积及脑损伤范围,并可稳定易破裂的动脉粥样硬化斑块,抑制脑动脉瘤的膨胀。由此基质金属蛋白酶可能成为防治脑卒中的新靶点。
