摘要
以甲烷磺酸铜为催化剂合成异丁酸苄酯,考察了催化剂用量、反应时间、醇酸物质的量比对酯化率的影响。实验结果表明异丁酸0.1mol,醇酸物质的量比1.21,甲烷磺酸铜用量0.125%(基于异丁酸的摩尔百分数),反应时间2.5h,环己烷5mL作带水剂,在回流温度下酯化率可达96.2%;与CuSO4·5H2O等其它几种Lewis酸相比,甲烷磺酸铜具有较高的催化活性,反应后易与产物分离,催化剂重复使用6次,酯化率仍达到89%以上。
Copper methanesulfonate is used as catalyst in esterification of benzyl alcohol with isobutyric acid. The amount of catalyst, reaction time and the mass ratio of alcohol to acid have been investigated. The esterification yield reaches to 96.2% under the conditions of 0.1tool isobutyric acid, 1.2:1 mass ratio of benzyl alcohol to isobutyric acid, 0. 125% catalyst (based on the molar percent of isohutyric acid), 2.5 h reaction time, 5 ml, cyclohexane as water-carrying agent and at refluxing temperature. Compared with other Lewis acids, copper methanesulfonate exhibits higher esterification yield and can be reused by simple phase separation. After 6 times recycling, the esterification yield of copper methanesulfonate is still above 89%.
