《徐霞客游记》以其独特的科学文学手法,用六万字、长达十分之一的篇幅全面介绍了保山的地质地貌、气候环境、风土人情、史迹典故等,内容涉及政治、经济、文化方方面面。《徐霞客游记》犹如点睛之笔,一扫保山“蛮夷瘴地”的历史蒙尘,对保山独特的风貌作了真切的展示。
One tenth of ＂Travel notes of Xiake XU＂, by its unique scientific literature and with its 60,000 characters, comprehensively introduces Baoshan＇ s physiognomy and geology, climate environ- ment, local conditions and custom, historical sites and literary quotations, etc. , and the content involves politics, economy and culture. Like a finishing touch pen, it totally sweeps unjust treatment to Baoshan. Hence, its contribution to Baoshan＇ s traveling culture is enormous, and the effect is profound.
