摘要
以明胶、丙烯酰胺(AM)、甲基丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵(DMC)为原料,采用氧化还原引发体系,通过反相乳液聚合技术,合成接枝共聚物,并讨论了合成条件对乳液稳定性的影响及产物在造纸中的应用。结果表明,体系HLB值为7~9、选用Span-80和Op-10作为乳化剂、油水体积比1∶1、引发剂用量1%、DMC用量25%、反应温度为55~60℃时,可以获得较为稳定的胶乳产品。作为纸张增干强剂时发现,当将本品用量为1%加入造纸系统,纸张的裂断长和耐破度均有明显提高。
A graft copolymer was synthesized by copolymerization of gelatin with acrylamide(AM) and methylacryloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride (DMC). The copolymerization was carried out with redox initiator inverse emulsion. This article discusses the effect of the reaction conditions on the stability of the inverse emulsion and the use of the graft copolymer as additives in papermaking. The experiments show that when the HLB value of the system was 7 -9. the emulsifying agents were Span-80 and Op-10, the volume ratio of oil and water was 1:1, the amount of initiator was 1%, the amount of DMC was 25% and the temperature of the reaction was 55 -60℃, a stable emulsion was made. When 1% of the product was put into the papermaking system as dry strength agent, the breaking length and burst index were both remarkably improved.
