摘要
本文从认知语义学的角度研究隐喻,介绍了由Lakoff和Johnson提出的概念隐喻理论。从结构、方位、本体隐喻三个方面比较了英汉概念隐喻的相似性。
Metaphors are studied on the cognitive semantics. Perspective and conceptual metaphors are introduced in this paper. Since human beings have the same cognitive systems and similar living experiences, metaphors in different cultures have similar cognitive bases. Consequently, this paper compares the three subdivisions of cognitive metaphors in Chinese and English respectively.
