摘要
采用熔融共混挤出法制备纳米氢氧化铝(ATH)为主体的阻燃乙烯-醋酸乙烯共聚物(EVA)材料,研究了阻燃增效剂纳米有机蒙脱土(OMM T)与硼酸锌(ZnB)对复合材料阻燃、力学与电学性能的影响。TEM、TG与FT-IR检测表明,OMM T在基体中插层状分散,不仅提高了材料的拉伸强度,而且在燃烧过程中具有显著的促进基体成炭作用;少量ZnB的加入有效制止了阴燃,此时材料综合性能达到使用要求。
The ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) formulations containing nanoscale aluminum hydroxide (ATH) as a flame retardant, organic montmorillonite (OMMT) and zinc borate (ZnB) as synergists were prepared by melt-blending. The effects of these synergists on the combustion behavior, mechanical and electrical properties of the composites were investigated. The dispersion of OMMT in EVA resin was observed by TEM, the thermodegradation of these composites was analyzed by TG and the properties of carbonaceous residue were characterized by FT-IR. The results show that silicate layers, which are intercalated in polymers, enhance the tensile strength and promote EVA matrix charring in combustion process. After adding a small quantity of ZnB, the thermal stability of composites is reinforced and smoldering combustion caused by OMMT is deterred. So the general properties of these nanocomposites satisfy the demands of performance criteria.
