摘要
詹姆逊是西方最重要的后现代主义文化理论家之一,他介入后现代批评的标志是论文《后现代主义与消费社会》的发表。他认为,始于20世纪60年代的晚期资本主义是资本主义发展的新阶段,随着生产方式的变化,作为反映社会结构的后现代主义文化也应运而生,它是晚期资本主义的文化逻辑的产物,也是晚期资本主义的主导文化。
F. Jameson, is one of the most important post-modernistic cultural theorists. The hallmark of his engagement in post-modern criticisms was the publication of his paper Post-modernism and Consuming Society. He maintains that the later capitalism, originated from 1960＇s, is the new stage of capitalism＇s development and that along with the changing of productive modes, a post-modern culture, as a reflection of the societal structure. This culture is the product of the capitalist logic of culture and also the dominant ideology.
